The True Faith Holiness Church Food Bank is funded and operated
by True Faith missionaries with the support of other participating
churches. It is Housed at St. Matthew Building C.
True Faith usually serves over 60 people on the second Friday and
additional 30 people the next day at 10 a.m.
Senior boxes are distributed on third Fridays to over 30 households. Special distributions are usually made during storm emergencies.
Participants receive produce, meats, fruits, dairy products, bread,
canned and dry goods, bakery products and household items.
True Faith Food Bank is affiliated with the Low Country Food bank
and governed by its operation guidelines.
In August 2017, St. Matthew agreed to house the True Faith
Food Bank when the former facility was no longer available.
This arrangement enabled the Food Bank recipients to continue
service on Reynolds Avenue.
True Faith was housed at a Reynolds Avenue, City of North
Charleston Community Center for over 12 years.
